THE BACKGROUND BIT

Even at an early age I have liked getting wet mostly in just shorts but I love the feeling you get from a soaked t shirt. I think it all started from watching wet scenes in films and TV. On holidays I would keep my t shirt on in the swimming pool or in the sea. When I could get away with it I would put on my school PE kit (white t shirt and white shorts) and have a long soak in the bath in them.

In my early teenage days I was an altar boy at my local church. They now call them “altar servers” but in my time we were known as altar boys. The church that I went to were looking for altar boys one day and my parents talked me into it.

For the service we had a uniform that we put on. We had a long red “cassock” that we put over our normal clothes and over the cassock we put on a white “surplice”. For those that don’t know what a surplice is it is a bit like an over sized t shirt that goes over the longer dress.

One day at church I find out they are going to get some new altar boys uniforms for us. I ask the priest if I could have one of the old uniforms. I only wanted the white surplice as it looks similar to a t shirt and had thought about how it would feel if I got soaked in one. I did not tell the priest that I wanted to get wet in it. Was delighted when he agreed and gave me an old white surplice. Thanked him and then took it home with me.

THE GETTING WET BIT

That night I put the white surplice on without wearing anything else to test it out. Really like the roomy oversize feel over my body. The sleeves down over my elbow and the rest of it reaching down over my knees. I wanted to see if I can sleep in one so my surplice will be my new night shirt. I go into bed with it on and lay down. As a boy and a teenager I immediately get that overeager moment and just had to play with my new night shirt. All that time in church and as an altar boy just goes out the window for a little while.

Next morning as I wake up and get out of bed I still have on my new night shirt and make my way to the bathroom. My thoughts now are to find out if the white surplice will make a good bathing shirt. I turn on the shower and step into the bath. I lean over so that only my head is under the shower and soak my hair. I then step back a little bit and stand upright. The water in my hair then runs down onto what was my night shirt and is now my new white bathing shirt. Each time I duck my head into the shower and let the water run down and soak into my shirt more of my body is revealed as the shirt turns transparent. As that overeager moment returns I just step right into the shower and enjoy the feeling as the water floods into my bathing shirt. Everything is now on show but my soaked oversized bathing shirt feels fantastic on me. I stay under the shower for what seams ages and have a good play with my new bathing shirt.

MORE NIGHT / BATHING SHIRT BITS

Over the next three or four years I got lots of pleasure from it. As a night shirt I loved sleeping in it and as a bathing shirt would have it on mostly in the bath or shower and throughout the summer months would go swimming with it on in the sea or lake.

One night I was sleeping in my favourite night shirt but had woken up with the sound of heavy rain on the window. Without any thought I leap out of bed only in my night shirt and head outside to play in the heavy rain. As the rain starts to soak in to my night shirt I now have on my bathing shirt without taking anything off. After a while in the rain you could see every part of my body under the shirt with the rain dripping off the shirt. When I finally went back indoors you would have seen I was still happy in my soaked bathing shirt. I was enjoying the moment so I just went back to bed still in my soaked bathing shirt. It was so good as me finished off my wet fun in my now wet bed.

GOOD BYE NIGHT / BATHING SHIRT BIT

One day at the lake I had on my favourite white bathing shirt. I did have on my white school shorts, socks and shoes but took off the shorts before I went into the water so that I can feel the bathing shirt float around me. First I slowly walk into the lake soaking the bathing shirt and watching it go see through and make my overeager moment grow as I get deeper into the water. When the water gets up to my shoulders I start swimming around. Feels amazing as my baggy bathing shirt floats in the water around my body. I then come out of the water and lay down on the grassy bank to warm up a little bit and to have a good look at my soaked shirt and body through the wet fabric. Once the sun had warmed me up I was back in the lake to swim around a bit more. So I would be in and out of the water. Each time I lay down on the grass the water on my bathing shirt would run off making the grassy bank more and more muddy. This gave me a new sensation as I start to roll around in the now muddy bank. Loved the feeling of the soft mud all over the fabric of my bathing shirt. I got a bit too over enthusiastic and my nice white bathing shirt was getting more and more brown as I roll around. I go in and out of the lake a few more times to make the grassy bank as muddy as possible. It is too late my bathing shirt will probably never be white again. I walk back into the lake once more standing up with the water at shoulder level. At the same time as I enjoy that overeager moment growing I pull at the fabric of my bathing shirt. Just at the peek of my enjoyment I rip the bathing shirt to bits until what is left of my shirt falls off my body into the water. Sadly that was the end of my old altar boys surplice, night shirt and bathing shirt. I have had lots of unholy enjoyment from it both sleeping in it and soaking it.
