In 2013 I was on a long holiday/vacation in New Zealand so by the mid point I was due a haircut. My plans for the day were to go on a boat trip to a geothermally heated waterfall where we would get out of the boat to stand under the waterfall. We were advised to arrive wearing clothes and shoes that could get wet and protect us from sharp rocks etc.
I dressed that morning in a rugby shirt, tracksuit bottoms (no underwear as usual)hi top Converse and socks. After breakfast in town I spotted a barbers shop and went for a haircut.
The excursion to the waterfall was a great experience and it definitely washed all the itchy bits of hair out of my rugby shirt. As it was a warm day my trackies and Converse were dry enough to wear in the car but I had to swap my wet rugby shirt for a polo shirt before driving to my next hotel.
At the hotel I took a fully clothed shower, put my freshly rinsed Converse and polo out on the balcony to dry before jumping in the pool wearing my trackies and rugby shirt.
